Could use 2 DC switches but there is operational risk so changeover better. problem finding a DC rated changeover rated for at least 750 V 25 A. Search for dc changeover only brings up AC units. Anyone done this? Maybe an old school knife switch double throw?

You could use a high voltage changeover dc contactor with permanent blow out magnets but will be quite expensive.
