July 7, 20251 yr I have one of these trolley inverters bought from takelot almost 2 years ago. It has not skipped a beat in this time however last week there was a power dip and power returned immediately. The inverter started sounding an alarm continously with all lights flashing. Does anyone know what the issue might be and how to reset if possible? I dont think this thing has broken all of a sudden and would rather not send it in for a warranty claim. July 7, 20251 yr You can try the following - just to testCompletely disconnect the battery from system for a couple of minutes, this allow the bms to reset if it is indeed a fault code. Once the battery is disconnected test it for voltage drop. Attach compatible battery charger and see it they take a recharge/load.Re-connect and test
July 10, 20251 yr Author Thanks. I solved the issue. Turns out the battery breaker had tripped due to a possible surge. I put it back up and everything is fine again
July 10, 20251 yr I would be surprised to learn that the Nava trolleys use a BMS. Seeing it looks like a previous/older generation Voltronics Inverter with a lithium battery, I would not be surprised if it just works on voltage mode.
