July 11, 2025Jul 11 Kodak og-plus 5.48 5 kw @ 230 volts ac inverter with Pylontech Battery1 x US3000 Add Switch to 1000. Original BMS RJ46 cable supplied by Kodak. System worked fine since Feb 2021.Below Pictures with added new BatteryAdded 1 x 3000C battery Pylontech recommends to make the US3000C as master battery with ADD switch 1 on all others off ( Add switch upside down on this battery) Battery BMS Cable from Master Battery Port link 1 US3000C to Port Link 0 on US3000 slave.Original BMS cable Rj45 from US3000C to Inverter. After booting up warning 04 battery low however SOC Led on both Batteries all 6 LED on = 100% voltage indicated 53V also checked with voltmeter on batteries confirming the 53 Volts. What could be the problem?Have contacted Pylontech 20 June 2025 its now 11 July 2025 [##27857##] Your ticket has been created no response from them. Called Segen Solar they want help me, only accredited installer I am the end user. Tried to contact my solar installer to no avail no response. My contact details. [email protected] Cell: 0724795166

July 22, 2025Jul 22 Author Hi CoulombThanks for the replay. Will try next month. I decided to run without BMS to Inverter. Adjusted Parameter 05 to User Defined and parameter values to Pylontech specs. However made US 3000c master + ADD switch to 1 ( switch upside down hence position 1 is on the R/H side) as per picture previous post. Cable provided by Pylontech from Master Battery Port link 1 US3000C to Port Link 0 on US3000 slave. It is working perfect. However due to no BMS to Inverter, the Battery Voltage reads correctly on inverter and measured with voltmeter. The only problem is at 100% charge ie 53.00 Volts it shows Battery Capacity 68% so the percentage is under reported by 32%. Regards Alfred

In this configuration, almost completely ignore the inverter's reported State of Charge. It's using lead acid logic, which is weak enough for a lead acid battery, and delusional for an LFP battery.Just use the LEDs on the battery modules for a low precision but far more accurate and useful SoC.Sorry for the late reply.
