October 27, 2025Oct 27 Good day Allive got 2x 5kva inverters that was installed a few years ago running 4x 200amp agm batteriesive just replaced them with 2x new gen volta stage 1 batteries now ive noticed that its not sharing or splitting the load and the master does the work and the slave charges the batterieswhat setting did change that did this as it was working before i set it to userMenu 02:80A; 05:USE; 11:80A; 26:56: 27:54; 32:AU33
October 27, 2025Oct 27 Have you turned on the second inverter ? Usually the small switch under the unit on the right hand side? This turns on the inverting mode? Otherwise if the inverter is connected to batteries and or mains, and has PV power it will turn on and only charge the battery, and night when the PV is off it will turn off completely if no mains supply, to the second unit.
October 27, 2025Oct 27 Author hiyes both are on.ive also noticed some times the HS and SL switch around so from left to right and right to left might be after a while when switching the one off then back onive also looked it maybe the load it to low and put geyser on then it shows 75% switch 2nd geyser on then error on HS and reboots after 15sec or so due to over loadwas working ok till gel batteries was removed and replaced with Lithium New gen Voltachecked settings on both inverters from 01 to 33 and they the same so thinking ive missed a setting some ware maybe from the watch power screennot to sure whats the best settings for these inverters or does mine look ok from the picwanting to try get most off grid cost savings so only charges via solar Edited October 27, 2025Oct 27 by Albert B

Often they switch positions. Normally the master is the first inverter to be powered on. The second became the slave. As @Arandoza said, check the power button first. On 2025/10/27 at 9:09 AM, Albert B said:ive also looked it maybe the load it to low and put geyser on then it shows 75% switch 2nd geyser on then error on HS and reboots after 15sec or so due to over loadControl the parallel cables, sharing cables and the 230V output wires. Normally the load should be shared between the two inverters. Gel batteries and lithium batteries didn't have the same parameters.

The parameters are syncronised on the slaves.1 hour ago, Albert B said:if i dont get them right ill try put them back on agm reboot and then back on user and redo all the settings again but wanted to avoid that for nowIf nothing works it is your last thing to do sirBest Regards
October 29, 2025Oct 29 According to the photo, slave inverter is not turned on. It's in solar charger mode aka Standby:You have to turn it on, using the switch located on the bottom of the box:

October 30, 2025Oct 30 Last thought is, are both inverters showing for menu 28 - PAL (for parallel use) ?? if you need to change this turn off the inverting of BOTH inverters before changing. When paralleled, if settings changes are made, on either inverter, they should reflect to be the same on both master and slave, But i would manually check and verify this, as well. Also assume you have one battery bank ( 2 x volta's) connected to both inverters so the inverters share the bank. Also that you are using the user defined battery setting on both the inverters ? or do the inverters understand the comms (canbus or serial data) from the battery bank? If your inverters have a lithium option they may not understand the battery bank, but this would cause issues more with charging than with one of the units not inverting? I would expect?
