May 7, 20197 yr Hi guys So my system is installed, the installer did I'm assuming the basic bits to get things configured. Can see things via VRM... but like I don't see my battery listed, but know the right cable is there, I see 2 MPPT's, but would like to more personalise their names (to imply which array they are connected to), I see 2 temperature sensors, but don't know which is which. Anyone give me some pointers, or can help. Note: I'm in Jhb, system is in JBay. I get the idea allot of this is via Victron Connect, which seems to be a app that only works locally, via BTLE or a cable. So not sure how I'l accomplish this. Please enlighten the lost one over here. G

From the Device List, pick the MPPT, then go to Device, and then you can give it a name (as you can see... mine is still unnamed... The Venus-GX has a whole bunch of sensors enabled by default, but you should just disabled them if you don't use them (it's under settings somewhere). For the battery to show up, you need to go to Settings->Services and set the right can profile. Pylontech needs 500kbaud if I recall. If that is set correctly and the cable is right, it should just work.
