May 9, 20197 yr No on and off grid charging specs - set the voltages and that it. https://www.trojanbattery.com/pdf/Trojan_QSG_Flooded.pdf And https://www.trojanbattery.com/pdf/TrojanBattery_UsersGuide.pdf At what amperage do you charge? 15% of bank AH as charge current during load shedding. Otherwise 10% of AH as charge current is fine.
May 10, 20197 yr Author I have a 60 amp microcare mppt,it only has a bulk and float charge setting,i have the charge settings to data sheet,at 3pm it goes to float charge and i check the soc of the batteries and its not near fully charged but floats at 1.2 amps, the soc only goes to green after equalising batteries

May 10, 20197 yr You must check the time and the amperage settings that decide when the MPPT goes to float. I don't have the manual handy, but after the bulk charge when the amps drop below a level that you can set and stay there for a set time, then it goes to float. Your amp setting may be too high.
May 17, 20197 yr I have a similar setup and want to know what settings have you eventually used on the microcare MPPT ?
May 19, 20197 yr Author After i adjusted the bulk to float at 2hours and go to float if charge lower than 3amps its makes a huge difference, thanks very much
