, I see a similar question was already asked in the Victron community, https://community.victronenergy.com/questions/212/ess-suggestion-for-better-battery-use.html, about max discharge, Have you seen it before?

That's @The Terrible Triplett... 🙂

(Hope it's okay to tie a real name to the nick... if not I will edit).

Yeah, would have like there to be an option to change you nick...., see you cannot change it on the community site.

[Edit] I see you can, Under "My Preferences" change Real Name to your nickname.

BTW, I cobbled together a minimal python hello-world flask app that should install and run from /data. Haven't tested it yet, but it's a start. It includes schedule, so in theory it will be very easy to do all sorts of magic stuff.

At the moment it just says "Hello world", but it has jinja2 for templating, so one could easily extend this into a full blown app. It includes a service directory so it can be started by just symlinking that into /service, but for just development you'd do (assuming you scp'ed the tar file to /tmp):

cd /data
tar zxf /tmp/venusflask.tar.gz
cd venusflask/service
./run

And that starts up a flask server on port 5000 that you can hit with a browser.

See attached.

Ok I have to work, but will start doing some research.

BTW, I added a retry function to your pvoutput.org script, busy testing it, post message would fail after a few days, hopefully the retry will work. New to python, but learning in spare time.

That script needs to be completely redone to use the values from systemcalc. That would make it so much simpler.

Maybe this way, thoughts below?

I know did not the install myself, so the above setup seems to be what was done, I think. Also I know I have two strings coming down split equally, I think, because it go's to two fuses, to from their to the MPPT.

This is what I see on VRM:

This is what I get with 2 x 8 - not Accepted.
Refresh the Excel, it sometimes gets stuck.

Looks like it has not reached full potential yet, system is idling.

Note: With the calcs on that Victron Sheet, make sure you load the Temp Coeff - makes a huge difference sometimes.
