August 19, 20197 yr Anyone please!! Where does one get this firmware? The local distributors are not even answering their support desk number. 74.20 seems to support equalization of the battery bank; and I need that. How well do the Victron battery balancers work? Help will really be appreciated.

Help will really be appreciated. Can't help you with the firmware . Just some info 74 . 20 only support 58.4 v equalization . 72 . 20 does support 64 v equalization .

Those are different major version numbers (74 vs 72), so as far as I know these are not comparable, as they are written for different hardware, with a different transformer turns ratio, capacitor and MOSFET ratings, etc. They probably also have different reflash initiating commands, so as to make accidental flashing with the wrong firmware impossible (or at least difficult).
