Question regarding Osaka batteries

Featured Replies

The seem a little cheap ... not as cheap as "leisure" batteries but too cheap compared to like Rolls and the likes.

So I have no idea.

Hi,

Does anyone have any experience with Osaka 120Ah batteries (like these Osaka 120Ah ) ?

I would like to use 2 on a Mecer 2400VA UPS, so they won't be discharged on a daily basis, only during load-shedding,

I am using the Osaka120AH. I have 4 in series and have been running off grid during the day on a 5KVA Axpert inverter. I have been using them about four months now and have been pushing them to the limits on a few occasions with power outages. Have also ran them on many ocasions with heavy element loads like dishwasher and geyser type loads. I don't have experience with the expensive options so I would not know the difference, all I know is they do the job for now. I hope I can get about two years out of them then they would have served there purpose.
