Thanks for accepting me to the forum!

I just installed my Mecer 3KVA inverter with 4x 275w panels and 2x 200AH Gel batteries and so far so good. I just want to find out where can i get the latest firmware for this inverter.

I have managed to get SolarPatrol working as the Watchpower app is very basic. But the problem is the Battery SOC seems erratic and not sure how accurate this is. So im hoping a firmware update will solve this.

Firmware for other than the 5 kVA models is very hard to come by.

I'm sorry to say that it won't. If you use a BMV battery monitor, it will track the SOC much better. But I don't know if SolarPatrol will integrate with it. ICC will.

Did you have any luck ? It's been 3 years.

I've got the same inverter and I'm plagued with the Premature Float  Bug, I guess I'm going to have to buy a Kodac or some other brand that has better firmware. Before I kill the lovely new Hubble AM-4 I just had installed. 

Damn Eskom and loadshedding.

Sadly, even the genuine Voltronic made inverter-chargers like Kodak will come with the premature float bug, no extra charge. Who knows what extra bugs that clone makers add though.

I have the same problem with a 24V Voltronics original inverter, but with lead acid batteries, at least with the hubble you have a bms, so you can just set your float voltage to the same as your bulk voltage which will help a lot, the bms will take care of the rest.
