February 10, 20206 yr “Back sheet failure” I assume it would be that white coating on the back of panels it looks like a paint or might be like a sticker. Does anyone know if it has a purpose or is it just for aesthetics of panels, and does it effect the output power of the panels, if it is removed? This makes me concerned about Artsolar panels.

I guess it serves as a barrier to make sure RTV seals everything. They do state in the article that the failures are affecting power output, so it has to do more than just that...
