When you get over about 8 Pylontech modules, then you need extra equipment (a hub?), and it becomes two or more Groups in their terminology. Over about 4 modules, you have to get creative about connecting them together so that they share the current (both charge and discharge) properly.

February 1, 20242 yr Yes, you can use RS-232. You will need the cable that came with the inverter and a USB to RS-232 adapter.
April 20, 20251 yr please help. my mercer SOL-I-AX-5KP kepps switching off the pv and on again, i suspect it dont like the voltage. After doing this a few times it stays off. i have four panels.
