Hello,

i have searched help for an problem by using google. I have found this forum. I hope someone can helps me.

i have an

Axpert MKS 3K-24V Plus

The inverter works well, Battery Mode and Utily Mode works. With 10ms switch time (170-280v).

If i try to connect via computer the USB-Connection get lost. Tested on Windows and Raspberry.

it is connected via the USB-Port. There’s no other port available.

The Device will be added to my computer correctly. On raspberry it’s:

/dev/hidraw0

the device NEVER get lost. It’s always shown as connected. But if I try to read the port with WatchPower, the device will appears, and disconnect, appears, disconnect, appears, disconnect and so on.

in the log file of the WatchPower I can read MANY MANY:

3001 Communication restore

3002 Communication Abort

that happened every 10 seconds.

Display shows Versions:

U1 02 / 71

U2 02 / 30

someone knows this problem?

sorry for my bad Englisch.

greetings from Germany!

I have the same model, made by Synapse, not sure if that makes too much of a difference. I monitor the inverter 24/7 with a USB cable and pipe data into InfluxDB. A few times a day I'll get a comms error, the inverter is probably busy and has better things to do. So the connection seems far from perfect.

Off the top of my head it might be your comms board that's not doing too well. Have you tried another cable?

Hello,

Yes I have tried another cable.. Now I have a working Solution found... If I use an USB-Hub with power-cable, then it works. If I disconnect the Power-Cable from the HUB, the Inverter sends wrong data. Only with external Power it works good...
