First of all, you have to get BatteryView working, because it's very complicated to talk to the batteries directly via some other program, like Putty, HyperTerm etc.

If the BatteryView is not working these are the common reasons:

  • cable is connected to the wrong port on the battery (CONSOLE is the right one)
  • wrong COM port number selected in the software
  • wrong BAUD RATE selected in the software
  • incorrect cable wiring

I managed to connect my pylontech US3000 to battery view, I saw there were in the history status a “DOCALm” recorded. What is the meaning of this ? The highest current peak was 64A for a short duration, can it be that high discharge?

Can anyone give me a tip or advice where i can find info on the use of the dry contacts on the pylontech's, I’m thinking of incorporating it to switch my auto-change.

Any advise will be appreciated.
