Morning all. Need some help please,  It doesn't seem that my 100AH Led Crystals charge fully. (Utility) Another thing is that the charging indicator on LCD display shows just over 3/4 and on my laptop 50% I do have 4 packs 48V Led Crystal Batteries. Last night I saw that it was still charging and voltage on my Volt/Amp Meter 56.7 V and this after an hour. Laptop 93V.  Are the settings wrong ? 26: 56.4V; 27: 54V; 02: 40 Amp; 11: 60 Amp. Thanks

Hi Swannie

Firstly, when taking a voltage reading while the batteries are still being charged, does not give you an indication of the current voltage of the batteries, as the voltage will be higher during charge. Best would be to switch of your mains in order for the system to revert to battery power and then take accurate measurements.

How old are your batteries, is this a new system?

What are the recommended charge and float voltages of the batteries, would be best to start there? I have experience with AGM and lithium, not with lead crystal, maybe someone else could help on this. Except for setting 11, most of your settings seems to be default. How long have these settings been working fine?

maybe increase your bulk charge to 57V and see if this helps

Or even 57.6 V (14.4 V per 12 V module); that covers most temperature ranges,

I assume that these are flooded types, and you are regularly watering then with the appropriate type of water.
