June 2, 201610 yr I saw this 12V Microwave oven on Takealot today - 55A @ 12V, about half of that @ 24V - poor battery! Heat up the pie and the battery is dead.

I saw "55 amps" and I was thinking, that's greater than C1 if you use the battery in the Suzuki Swift... :-) Would probably be fine for a 30-second heat-the-baby-food stint (similar to a difficult start), but no more. Do it daily and that battery will be toast by the weekend.
