Axpert 5kW Mk1 - Parallel operation issues

Featured Replies

Working on a system with 3 x 5kVA Axperts (Mk1) in parallel.

System recently developed an issue where the inverters do not display the master/slave indication. The section in the middle of the LCD where this is displayed is blank for all three inverters.

Paralleling and current share cables are all connected and plugged in.

Anybody seen this problem before?

This is potentially dangerous.

I'd say that somehow the settings have been reset. Check them all, and in particular, change setting 28 (output mode) to PAL or P1/P2/P3 as appropriate. See FAQ 3.

Thanks for the help and advice @Coulomb.

You are correct, for some or other reason the settings were reset to factory default. Lost one inverter but the other 2 now running fine with the correct settings reinstated

Yikes. What happened to it? Was there some sort of power surge?

No idea. Apparently a load bang when they switched to the inverter supply and then it was dead. I suspect the outputs of the three inverters were not synchronized as they were all set up to run as singles. The weakest one died
