(I think 01=SBU may work better and then program 12 & 13 might work) 01=SOL 01 02=29A 03=APL 04=SdS 05=LI 06=restart disabled 07=Restart disabled 08=230v 09=50Hz 10=4 11=30A 12=30% 13=75% 14=CS0 14 15=bON 16=LON 17=AON 18=bYd 19=53.2v 20=53.2v 21=20% 22=SbE 28=1 43=E9 dl5 44=58.4v 45=60 46=120 47=30 48=tOF Currently : The system runs on battery during the day if charged above 95%, if it drops below 95%, then the solar kicks in and charges the battery and feeds the load At night, if the battery drops below 95%, then utility kicks in, charges the battery and feeds the load. I want the system to do the following : During the Day, feed the load on solar all day, use battery if load exceeds what solar can provide. At night, run on battery, if the battery drops to 30% during the night, then use utility to charge. Is this possible?

Please do not mislead him, have a look at the user manual and you will see that your answer is very wrong. You only have three options for setting 01 and none of the three is battery first. SOL- UTL- SBU, the first and last means Solar first and UTL means Utility first. @RandomPower Growatt SPL5000TL uses battery to power ON, unfortunately there is no way you will not use the battery when it reaches 100% during the day. When you reach 100%, the inverter will always switch off PV and use the Battery and then switch back at 95%. There is no way around that, with this model As for the second part of your question, change setting 01 to SBU then your inverter will continue using the battery at sunset and only when it reaches the limit set on setting 12 (30%) , it will go back to Utility

June 28, 20215 yr But I took a screen shot for you dude. Are you saying the TL does not have the default offgrid inverter setting? I don't have the TL but I assumed they are almost identical with the ES with the only difference being SUB mode. Edited June 28, 20215 yr by Buyeye

That is why I referred you to the user manual and you still want to argue 😩 Lets not derail the post, I have already answered the questions of OP. PM me your email address and will send you the user manual for the TL model and you can compare the two and see how different they are. Again, SBU- Solar first as priority, then if not enough solar, both Solar PV and Battery supply the load. Utility will only supply if the battery voltages goes below the setting 12 value. There is no battery first with the Growatt SPF5000TL model

People like doing fw updates and I have seen on many occasions where devices fail during the said updates and some times, new issues arise. If it is not necessary to do the update, leave it
