Khalil Koja got a reaction from Tarek Yag in Collection of DSP Axpert Firmware for VM III TWIN and VM IV TWINLooks like many of members here live in the same area 😁
I wonder if any other country have grid power only 2 hours only per day ?

as I can see they shared FTP link so you can explore other folders , and I found many interesting things such as a firmware with 60.10 dated june-2024 (in the file meta data ) , according to @Mohammad Jawish they told him that it is the last official version !
Main folder:
https://ftps.voltronic.com.tw/T/Temp-987EB17E23484B20A6C2/
Twin modified version :
https://ftps.voltronic.com.tw/T/Temp-987EB17E23484B20A6C2/VM TWIN_84.00.7z
Big thanks to @Mohammad Jawish for sharing the link with us

Khalil Koja reacted to Mohammad Jawish in Collection of DSP Axpert Firmware for VM III TWIN and VM IV TWINThanks for your reply
I upgrade my inverter to the mentioned version
The twin problem not solved
I faced other problem after the update
Max charging current reduced to 10amp
I tried to modify it many times but it return to 10amp after battery fully charged and not goes up again.
The voltronicpower.com replied to my question about twin problem and send me a special version @Coulomb
Dear Mohammad,
Thanks for your e-mail.
The PV energy is not stable, if the 2nd output is turned ON too fast then the 2nd output may be ON/OFF frequently when the PV energy is not stable. We have one special version of Main CPU firmware to turn ON the 2nd output when the inverter backs to AC mode for more than 1 min. Please upgrade the firmware to check if it could comply your request.

Since this is the customized firmware and the firmware version is different.
If you want to recover the main CPU firmware back to mass production version, you could also get the firmware 60.10 through below link.

Khalil Koja reacted to AMalakani in Collection of DSP Axpert Firmware for VM III TWIN and VM IV TWINCorrect, it's the same, but the grid power in my area is not available all the time, so if there's a limited time of grid power at evening, CSO (Solar first) will keep charging the battery from PV with a very low watt at sunset time and won't switch to grid till the PV is 0v, and at that time the grid will be out.
This is the reason of using only SNU and OSO.
If you ask me "Why you don't keep it on SNU all the time?"
My answer is "To cut down the power bill" 😁
It is a combination of resource management, available capabilities and equipment used. 🤓

Khalil Koja got a reaction from esmail-kassir in Collection of DSP Axpert Firmware for VM III TWIN and VM IV TWINI think you miss understand it:
VM III has removable screen with Touch / Non Touch buttons.
VM IV has rounded screen with Touch buttons only.
I have already reflash it with 25.08 and 25.12 with same results (buttons not working).

Khalil Koja got a reaction from Tarek Yag in Collection of DSP Axpert Firmware for VM III TWIN and VM IV TWINIn touch buttons VM III you can only step in same direction to check other screens which is bad thing!

Khalil Koja got a reaction from Tarek Yag in Collection of DSP Axpert Firmware for VM III TWIN and VM IV TWINYes only touch buttons.
This VM III Twin TRIPLE A Brand:
Infinite Brand VM III Twin 6000W (physical buttons removable display)
-
Khalil Koja got a reaction from Tarek Yag in Collection of DSP Axpert Firmware for VM III TWIN and VM IV TWINNo, it's removable display as you know it but instead of physical buttons it has touch ones.
No, It's Triple A Brand, also there are many brands VM III inverters with removable display have touch buttons.
I have checked many inverters VM III Twin with MCU FW: 57.xx, i can get you more info like SN, DSP FW if you want.

Khalil Koja got a reaction from Tarek Yag in Collection of DSP Axpert Firmware for VM III TWIN and VM IV TWINYes.
Unfortunately All the keys not working.
What make me confused that I have also update another VM III Twin MCU (it has a Touch keys not buttons!) from 57.07 to 25.08 and the keys work fine!

Khalil Koja got a reaction from Tarek Yag in Collection of DSP Axpert Firmware for VM III TWIN and VM IV TWINI Have successfully update both inverts (DSP & MCU) FWs and everything is good but the display buttons for VM III TWIN didn't work after the update.
The screen, LED flashes and icons all OK but i can't step up/down any more !
Axpert VM III 6000W Twin
Sn: 96342304xxxxxx
MCU FW: 57.08 to 25.12 / 25.08 (same results)
Inverter FW: 60.05 to 60.89

Khalil Koja reacted to Tarek Yag in Collection of DSP Axpert Firmware for VM III TWIN and VM IV TWINAh, it's most likely a driver issue, just as @bratpit suggested. I doubted it since the beginning but didn't want to jump to conclusions. Thank you @Khalil Koja for doing more testing and giving feedback.
Well, Prolific drivers have a well-known issue with previous counterfeit products that were sold worldwide and Prolific acted well against them, and I don't blame them! It seems like you have bought one of the counterfeit ones which are still wide spread all over the world, especially in your region. You need to use driver version 3.3.2.102 or less to make it work with newer Windows editions.
Anyway, yes, now that you have got a successful connection in WatchPower, make sure you exit it completely (check notifications area) and then try to reflash your MCU. Please remember, we don't provide any guarantees at all, it's all on your own responsibility if anything goes wrong. We only volunteer help as much as we can to freely willing people like you.
Good luck!

Khalil Koja got a reaction from Tarek Yag in Collection of DSP Axpert Firmware for VM III TWIN and VM IV TWINI have run WatchPower App with my current connection (Window 10, Adapters, Drivers) and COM Port in WatchPower disconnected after about 20 seconds so i failed to run it, Now I install Windows 7 with same adapters and WatchPower connected with my COM successfully.
So now can i update my MCU FW without brick it ?!
-
I had the same.
Change driver

Khalil Koja reacted to Tarek Yag in Collection of DSP Axpert Firmware for VM III TWIN and VM IV TWIN@Khalil Koja, please give us complete details again. Your inverter's model number, your current MCU firmware version and what version are you trying to upload, and any other necessary info. From what the reflash app is reporting, it seems like an adapter issue. Did you set the Baud Rate correctly in Windows Device Manager?
Connection settings for MCU reflash should be: Baud Rate: 2400, Parity: None, Data Bits: 8, Stop Bits: 1, Flow Control: None.
Anyway, re-read all instructions written by Coulomb for reflashing firmware.
-
Khalil Koja reacted to Tarek Yag in Collection of DSP Axpert Firmware for VM III TWIN and VM IV TWINWow, this seems like a lot of work. As I recommended for you, did you check your adapter's port settings in Device Manager? Any incorrect settings will prevent a successful connection. Attached are the correct settings.

Khalil Koja got a reaction from Tarek Yag in Collection of DSP Axpert Firmware for VM III TWIN and VM IV TWINSorry for delay, to keep you updated:
I have successfully update my 6000W VM III Twin display's FW from 57.07 to 25.08.
I got an error 032 first (maybe i should upgrade display then inverter) ?, finally a server center fix it and upgrade the FWs.

I would try paralleling the panels for higher current and lower voltage, the sticker reads 102VDC max for the inverter, but this does not tell the whole story, it may be better at a lower voltage and higher current.
