  7. Hi All Just want to check if anyone has wired one of these I'm going to hooking one up for a friend of mine he still awaiting delivery. So thos seems to be and off grid inverter and if you need to feedback to grid or a grid connection you need to buy a specific meter am I correct in saying this thanks.
  8. It should be tick that is applied.
  9. So I do it this way ,I feedback to my non essentials thats the geyser and Oven that way I make the most of my solar energy. So zero export and limit to load unticked.
  10. Hi All So I think you can use the aux port and stipulate the amount of load you want to run off it for non essential but once grid fail there will be no power to non essential loads
  11. @mgwoods the power fourm store has some great suff at good prices and you can chat to Steeve @Powerforum Store
  12. @mgwoods with regards to the battery just check the specs of discharge as some are 0.5C 1C and so forth , what about the Sunsynk battery as they in the same ball park as Hubble and with the Sunsynk you get and extended warranty to 10Years if you use the battery with Sunsynk inverter but just confirm with suppliers.
  13. @PurePower yes it's still available.
  14. @CBurger how is it wired is it Positive from the first and Negative from the 3rd?

    Hi All
  19. @Z100 off grids nice but its a costly affair if 💯 off grid if the funds available then its a plus+.5Kva is good but when you say 5000w load may a bigger inverter would be better reasons not to push it to max. Then the expensive part storage at least 50kwh. Generator is good but then take in consideration of fuel. Wind turbine would be nice depending on the area residential or if you have neighbors 1km away, a good wind turbine say 1.5kw or 2kw. I currently have a SunSynk 8kw with around 8000watt panels 20KWH lithiumion bank, flat plate collector gets me through a day but depending on the weather ther next day still not completely of grid. My load is around 1kwh I can use the aircon for sometime but by the am battery is around 10 to 15% just my experience.
  20. John2 replied to Kavesh's topic in Inverters
@Kavesh so this is a decision you will have to make , so with that buget of around 20K its tight if you looking at a 5KVA power factor 1 usable say around 4kva , but depending on batteries and load. Example your nominal load essential plugs, lights I'd say average household anything from 700w to a 1000w. You will need either 4 x100amp gel batteries or 3kw lithiumion battery for the load for around 2 hours. That is 2amps for 2hours.Then the question arises with this be enough ,or a year or two maybe requirements change and now you need a 8KW so taking in consideration when deciding on requirements as sometimes you might getting a bigger inverter now to cater for later but just some advice in the long run could save cost.
