  3. @GerhardK hi I still haven’t tried the sunsynk and fl5.2 I still have the Kodak 7.2 running with the batteries but have read that the fl5.2 works well with sunsynk it uses a straight network cable from Can bus. I have also seen that the Kodak fl5.2 is on the approved battery list for sunsynk. I do have an 8kw sunsynk Instock which I am planning to replace the 7.2 Kodak with at some point please let me know if you do try it . Taahir 0827867315
  4. Hi yes the WiFi is a struggle with these inverters. Sometimes it takes on the first try and other times it’s takes a few tries what I find helps is to switch off mobile data on your phone and forget the local WiFi from your phone also if there is 2.4g and 5g WiFi on the same ssid name it also creates interference
  5. Hi we can assist with firmware update please send me an email with your info regards Taahir [email protected]

  7. @Ali1994 hi I have the same issue with my 7.2max it will not use utility to charge while the pv is above 90v. It only charges from utility if set to USB and SNU but then it does not use pv to supply the loads seems to be an issue with this inverter
  8. Hi guys not sure if anyone has solved this issue with the 7.2max Kodak yet. I have found what works best for my setup 1x 7.2max and 2 x fl5.2 with 2s of 5p 455w after months of trying to get it to blend power I have used the timer setting. set to sbu from 06:00 to 16:00 and sub from 16:00 to 06:00 this way in sbu it starts discharging the batteries in the morning until around 9am when there is good sun and pv supplies the load and batteries. batteries are full by around 11:30 and pv continues to supply the load until it switches over to sub I have been generating about 11kwh per day. On this setup what I have found with the max is that even though the charge priority is set to SNU it does not use utility to charge batteries if the pv voltage is above 90v but at night after load shedding it charges from utility (set to 40amps)
  9. @Henri.Marais Hi have you found out anything regarding this setup as I would also like to change from a Kodak 7.2 max to a sunsynk but use the existing fl5.2 batteries
  10. Hi I would run 2 strings of 4 panels and use both mppt on the max inverter through a combiner box with surge and dc fuses for panels and also put a 40a ac breaker or isolator supplying the inverter as those inverters have a tendency to blow the input fuse internally other than that you should be good to go.
