  6. I recently put in a geyserwise / geyserwala combo the geyserwala is superb! Integrates perfectly with home assistant
  7. Initial install was neater, but I added 2 extra batteries + 600amp victron busbar + battery disconnectors after the initial install wall space became a problem 😂
  8. Thanks - What exactly does the “Floating Neutral” problem mean - I see it mentioned in quite a few posts - but I’m not sure what it means
  9. I havent measured, I'll try that tonight But I turned off the main breaker and get the same result - which leads me to believe that any voltage would have to be coming from inside the house - not eskom side.

  11. Hi I have 2 x 8KW Sunsynk running in parrallel, 3 x 10kw Dyness PowerBox Pro and 32 540W Panels. The system has been in for around a year and everything is running mostly fine except that whenever the grid is down the system reports +/- 80V on the Grid. I have asked the installer and he is unsure what the problem is, I also mailed SunSynk Support and they said they suspect the "Grid Relay has failed" I can replicate the behavior if I turn off the mains in, the grid voltage is reported as 80v. I dont know if it makes any difference - but My Eskom is 3 Phase, but I dont use two of the phases - they are connected to nothing. Only the Red phase is connected. The CT Coil is connected to the Red Phase on Eskom side of the breaker. The installer put in a permanent Earth neutral bond in the inverter. Has anyone experienced this, or have any idea what the problem could be?

  13. I have to agree here - I have 2 x 8kw Sunsynk and I use Solar-Assistant for the reporting, also allows you to control and edit all the settings on the inverters remotely. Very easy to setup. It integrates well with home-assistant as well, the only drawback is that it doesn’t support pushing back of automations from home-assistant from what I can see. - eg When there is load shedding automatically increase the battery reserve But hopefully they add it soon

  15. Looks Good - you can get the tubular plastic things at builders - I think I paid R50 for R4m and a couple of bucks for the fittings The fan is an elegant and pretty robust solution 😀
