  1. I have a similar setup and connected everything in essentials with CBI smart switches. I have a gas geyser for the cold mornings if my electric giezer water is not hot enough.
  2. @Ferdi, thank you. Also share your settings with me for the 3 batteries, charging and discharging rates. Thanks.
  3. Hi @slipx, how do I pull my SS 8kv data into HA via wifi, not using the RS port. Thanks.
  4. @Ferdi, where did you buy your 3rd CFE. I'm in the market for my 3rd one after one of my current 2 has been replaced by Leon. I do't want to waste my money again on AZ Distributors at www.azd.co.za. They gave me a run around to replace my faulty battery and I had to contact CFE in China to change my battery at their main distribution centre in Gauteng. Thanks.
  5. @mzezman now this makes sense. Can you perhaps share some wisdom on how to amend the MQTT settings? Thank you.
  6. Attached CFEResidential ESS5100S Datasheet Rev1.pdf
  7. Leon also replaced my faulty battery Thursday without any hassles. Nancy update it this morning. I will test tonight. Have receive excellent service from CFE. And yes my 2 batteries run between 95 and 100 SOC. My view is that this balance all cells. I stand to be corrected.
  8. Hi, for my lack of understanding as I'm to take on this very same project your assistance will be appreciated. On my side I've done the full SS installation and downloaded HA. I'm saving up for the orange PI with Solar Assistant pre-loaded. My question is what do I do from there to get SA speak to HA. I've also started with some automation on my geezer and swimming pool pump with CBI Wi-Fi switches. Then some few sonoff basic switches in between just for the fun. Do have a step by step guide or SA 101 module I can somehow get. Thanks a lot for your help.
  9. I managed to get it right via the correct BMS cable connection. Thanks.
  10. I support this as well. My batteries installed a month ago. I had problems from the word go and supplier is giving me a run around. In sort my issues: 1. Struggled endlessly to get batteries on app and updated by Leon in China 2. SOC of batteries differ on app 3. Inverter only seems to communicate with one battery 4. SOC drops from 100 to 0 under no load at all creating alarms on my 8kv SS 5. Batteries don't keep its SOC 6. During the day with full PV battery is feeding load - even if my mode settings should prevent it 7. No technical support from supplier of CFE - I was put in a whatsap technical group with no support at all How do we make our concerns going global as many other potential end users may fall in the same trap?
  11. How do you get this connection done? My screen shows 0.
