  1. Important factors in battery comparison are chemistry (e.g. lifepo4, NMC etc), depth of discharge, recommended and max charge and discharge rate (C) and cycle life (including remaining capacity at end of life).
  2. I'll be selling my 3 phase efergy with hub before the end of the month.
  3. It will work. It'll be sub-optimal but possibly better than being below start-up voltage on the 4 panel option.
  4. These guys are doing the longer term testing for us https://batterytestcentre.com.au/batteries/pylontech-us2000b
  5. Quoting prices ex vat is illegal, but I guess that's another matter. I've been to their physical store in Centurion, look like nice enough people and all.
  6. Because they're facing east. You should be getting about 12kWh per day in March as per the photovoltaic GIS.
  7. Just note OP's panels are facing east
  8. That's great! I was under the impression you can't get CoC with these inverters. Clearly I was ill-informed
  9. How did you guys get CoC on your installations with these inverters?
  10. Two other options you can consider: connect a MCB sized 12V transformer in an open space in your AC control box. This can then power a small 12V (i.e. computer) fan 24/7. use a sonoff TH10 or TH16 to turn a fan on/off based on the the inverter temp.
  11. Those batteries in the video are connected in parallel. Series would have +ve connected to the next -ve. As for cable thickness, the Pylon cables are rated for 125A which should be more than enough for 2 x US3000 batteries. For more power, you can simply double up on the cables.
  12. I notice there is quite a large price range on DC SPD devices. Are the expensive ones that much better than the cheaper ones? What is an acceptable brand to go for?
  13. Would JAM60S-10-345-MR-BF-MC4 work? 345W, 1689mm
  14. Is this still available?
