    I did an inspection of the unit on opening it up. Couldn’t see anything damaged. Also restarted in battery mode - before applying AC mains.

    Thank you @jumper - this is the most comprehensive information I’ve seen to date on Dyness. The DIP switch settings are different to all other literature seen! What concerns me is that the Axpert is running RS485 comms - yet the protocol applied is different.

    Folks - the following information was received (as below) re the Axpert Mkii. This is not captured anywhere in the product documentation (unless I missed it somewhere)

    “We already inbuilt the function to bridge output N-G when the inverter is running in inverter mode. Due to this reason, we also removed the function of Program#38. You could check the inverter output voltage between N-G when the inverter is running in inverter mode. It should be at 0Vac.”
