Planck reacted to Morelz in SunSynk 5kW, 8kW and 12kW latest firmware versionThe above is as mentioned all for single phase inverters and only the master versions, can publish the HMI and slave versions as well if you want(You get a 12kW SP as well), and the 50kW 3Phase. Working on the 3Phase data , as due to Sunsynk standards they don't have proper naming like all the other inverters. Already have the 12kw 3P, latest master version is 2005-1175, will publish full list once its complete

Planck got a reaction from Moffat in SunSynk 5kW, 8kW and 12kW latest firmware versionMost likely the latter. Manufacturer likely sends it to suppliers with latest FW but it may be standing in stock for a while before it gets to you. I doubt that shops/suppliers update the FW... Your installer may do so if they're diligent.

Sunsynk 12kW 3 phase
Updated very early this morning, didn't even notice other than I could tell from some appliances that power had cycled at some point. (update happened about 6-8 hours after I requested it, I didn't touch the inverter before, just left it running, it did seem to reboot though).
SW Ver.:M 2005-1140 / S 18-07 / C 1001-E037

I know this has been posted before but it bears repeating:
to update go to
https://sunsynk.freshdesk.com/support/home
Register
Log a support ticket for the firmware upgrade and provide them with your inverter serial and your wifi gateway (dongle) serial.
Both can be obtained from SunSynk Connect at https://sunsynk.net/plants under "equipment"
Alternatively the serial number for my gateway was on the physical dongle sticking out of the inverter.

Apologies, seems my usage of words let me down. I can confirm while the upgrade is running, all power was cut.
Regarding the off-grid: I am not willing to pay an Eskom connection fee of 100k hence the total off-grid. I am using a Bundu Power Diesel Gen-set on cloudy days to charge and supply the house with power. Not ideal but have been working well thus far.

Planck reacted to Fred79 in SunSynk 5kW, 8kW and 12kW latest firmware versionScheduled an update on firmware this morning at around (1Feb)10:00am SAST for my SunSynk 8kw. Code was applied on the inverter at around (1Feb)13:15pm SAST.
from: COMM:e41c - MCU:6006 to COMM:E426 - MCU:6022-0717
Some new menus, display. No issues to report yet all seems to work as normal. (total off-grid). There are no AC out while the code applies to the Inverter ROM, you can actually see the progress of the code applying on the main screen. (round green circle).

Planck reacted to BdJ in SunSynk 5kW, 8kW and 12kW latest firmware versionRequested my 5kw to be upgraded, yesterday around the 2pm mark, all power was cut in the house. However the inverter was still kicking, noticed the "On" turning into B and started counting.
It was updated to 3.3.8.2, will test and play with the screens. Not sure what was changed yet

Above is the latest software version of my Sunsunk 12kw inverter. I requested an upgrade this morning and when i looked now it had happened already - that was at 11H00.
The previous version I had was M 2005-1121 / S 18-07 / C 1001-E030

Planck got a reaction from DeonBez in SunSynk 5kW, 8kW and 12kW latest firmware version@Tarryn AFAIK the official channel is via this form: https://www.sunsynk.org/up-grade
But you can also email: [email protected] who is on the update team. They are the person (gender & name unknown) that supplied me with the firmware file for the data logger (attached earlier in this thread), which you have to upgrade manually. Be warned: inverter firmware upgrades, once requested, happen without notice and often result in a few minutes of downtime so plan it carefully and bear in mind that fanyj@ is 6 hours ahead of us.
P.S. Please start a new post somewhere to show off your 18 inverter setup. We'd love to see some photos of them and your PV array! I assume this is a commercial not residential setup?

Planck got a reaction from Milan188 in SunSynk 5kW, 8kW and 12kW latest firmware version@Milan188 Looking back at the fault codes it seems I've only had that alarm twice: July 20th & July 27 2022. I don't remember what happened at the time or what firmware was loaded. If it was something serious I'm sure I would have remembered the incident.
You may as well request an upgrade. I'm currently running:
COMM: 1001-E030
MCU: 1123-2005-1807

Planck got a reaction from Milan188 in SunSynk 5kW, 8kW and 12kW latest firmware versionI was able to upgrade my Wifi Data logger using the attached firmware file (provided by Deye support).
Sunsynk/Deye are unable to upgrade that device remotely so you need to do it yourself by connecting to the Data Logger's Wifi Access Point, as described in the manual (also attached).
For reference my Data Logger hardware version is: AEW2-0005-03 Check yours before upgrading and proceed at your own risk if it's not identical. This may or may not work for other hardware versions and/or the Ethernet data logger.
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! (but do let us know if you brick your data logger, for education's sake 😉 )
