KODAK OG5.48 - Can they be connected in parallel?
We have quite a big household with two geysers, lots of workshop tooks, swimming pool pump and not a fan of gas cooking so the electric SMEG will stay. The stove/oven is the biggest single load, but we regularly go over 5 kW even without the stove. Going to a bigger inverter setup is going to be much cheaper and also less labour than changing all the individual devices.

Inverter Changeover Time
They are noisy, I have the same (Kodak) inverter, also mounted inside. You get used to it, but I'm making plans to move it out of the way due to the noise. Maybe one of the reasons they are such good value for money second hand?

Kodak OG5.48 to BL3.6 BMS cable pinout
Also, for someone who has this issue, no need to get cable professionally crimped, you can cut any network cable and splice as per above pinout. Doesn't look A+, but does the job.

Kodak OG5.48 to BL3.6 BMS cable pinout
Thanks Sam, managed to get it working. Here is the correct pinout for the RJ45 cable: Inverter 5 to battery 7 Inverter 3 to battery 8 Battery type needs to be set to PYL. Seems the Kodak BL3.6 is manufactured by Pylontech. I got the pinout wrong initially and then got the dreaded error 61, so thought I had to do firmware first. Double checked the cable this morning and noticed my mistake. Once fixed and plugged in battery light on inverter started flashing and charge/float voltages automatically set. Seems to be properly communicating now (does the battery light/icon on inverter keep on flashing or is it supposed to go solid again?).

Kodak OG5.48 to BL3.6 BMS cable pinout
Good day Can someone please assist with the correct pinout for this cable? The instructions from Segen for connecting to BMS attached, but no instructions for the cable itself. Thanks in advance! da4dfbe7c250f22fe4a5a7bd261bedd8fc0af097ba3bb8896be1986c6516319f_optim.pdf
