Kodak 7.2 - Main firmware is 72.03 - Can I flash to 69.70?
Thanks Coulomb, never a dull moment with these things. I bought it as a spare, I already have 2 x 7.2 Kodaks (on display 12.28 and main firmware 69.70) successfully running in parallel. Wanted to flash this one to the same firmware and settings and put it in storage for a quick change over if needed in future. I successfully flashed the display firmware to 12.28 so the coms to the display is not the issue. Maybe between display and main board? It makes a funny screeching sound when you try to flash the main firmware, and flashes 32 on the screen. Might just sell it on now and look for a 69.xx later.

Have tried 69.62 and 69.70 but the flash does not run: Need to parallel it with another 7.2 that has 69.70 firmware, is this possible?

Kodak 7.2 - MCU Reflash Failed - Dead display - Solved
Thanks Shadders, much appreciated. I ended up powering down and disconnecting everything, and then powering up the inverter with AC only. Restarted PC as well. MCU firmware updated successfully after this. Same story with main DSP firmware flash - failed two times and left me with a "32" warning on the inverter and no response. I had none of these issues with the other inverter. Seems best is to just keep trying, restarting inverter and PC etc. until it works. All working now, thankfully.

Kodak 7.2 - MCU Reflash Failed - Dead display - Solved
Used the .28 remote display firmware update tool - this is what happened: Same process worked flawlessly on my other identical Kodak. Display is now dead (inverter is still on) and inverter wont talk to Watchpower either. Any advice please?

Kodak 7.2 - Calibrate battery voltage?
I'm busy with a parallel installation with two of these - so far just connected to the batteries via a bus bar. Communiaction and current sharing cables not installed yet and PAL setting not activated. Voltage reading at terminals for both inverters are 52.6 V via a multimeter, but one inverter reads 53.0 V and the other 52.1 V. I'm suspecting that this will cause an issue once I activate the parallel settings. Anyone have guidance for calibrating these inverters - the manual seems to refer to such a possibilty. Much appreciated in advance!

Thank you, so I can surface fix it with those nail cip thingies? What about my DC PV and battery cables? Do they need to run in conduit/trays to the bus bar/fuses/inverter?

I have a small dedicated room where I'll be installing my inverters. If I use flat-twin-earth cable to connect the inverters with the DB's and main house DB, does it still need to be in trunking inside this room? Seems very unnecesarry as it is allready double insulated.

This is good news, thank you. I've not read up about the "stuck at 90V" issue. What is the summary? The Kodak is on 69.01 and 12.21 currently - haven't re-flashed it yet - and it runs very well (about 12 months now). Have not connected the Synapse yet - but have flashed it to 43.13 and 12.28.

Wiring diagrams is not something I do on a day to day basis - please excuse amateurish sketch attached here. The tank level switch closes the circuit when water is below its level - opens when tank is full. The level switch can be flipped up or down depending on your preference - creating a NO (normally open) or NC (normally closed) switch - quite nifty. The way mine is wired is so that relay will be switched off when the signal wire to level switch is damaged or opened - its over 50 m from relay to tank. You can wire it the other way around as well - switch NO and then use the NO contact on the 220V side of the relay. The relay and Sonoff switch is in series - but the Sonoff needs to be closest to the breaker otherwise you will have connectivity issues as it will switch on and off all the time.

Thank you, appreciated! My one inverter is 69.xx and the other 45.xx. Assuming the DSP firmware is not cross-compatible? Cant load the 45.xx onto the one with 69.xx? Not good news - I was hoping to connect them in parallel.... Is this still possible?

Very similar requirements to what I have, I have gone with the following. Everything runs of the inverter/solar setup. 550W borehole pump directly to 2050L Eco tank.
