Thank you never checked this, will definitely do so.

Too many panels or unbalanced Sunsynk 5kW inverters? Or?
Sitting with the same issue. 2x 8Kw Sunsynk inverters and everything splits 50/50 but when PV is available it goes bonkers. I have 2 strings (strings are split for shading as I have a neighbour’s tree in the morning and my office in the afternoon) String 1 10x 460w On Master String 2 6x 460w on Slave When the Master produces more PV than the Slave, then the slave will substitute with battery even though the timer limits has reached 30% When the Slave produces more than the Master, then the Slave will charge the batteries and substitute grid to cater for the load. When there is enough PV everything runs 100% correct. I was going to have the 2 strings split evenly but with the shading issue I believe it will be the same problem as I have now. So, it will be money wasted as seen above Sunsynk PV balancing is an issue. From this thread I will learn just to live with it. My 2c

Sunsynk 8kw Parallel Inverter Small Issue
Hi Just want to find out is this correct of maybe my issue? The master shows die batteries BMS but the slave inverter does not, please see below and advise if this is normal or not.

Sunsynk 8kw Parallel Inverter Small Issue
@wolfandy yes also from SA in Pretoria. Yes battery current still the same between 2 and 4. I have not yet contacted Sunsynk as my installer will handle that. But to be honest if this is not going to effect the system in future or blow it up I am going to ignore it as everything works. The thing with Sunsynk is they are going to say send in the inverters and not doing that right now. I am just one of those number guys and thats why I picked it up, knowing my friend he would of never noticed it as it works and that's all hahahaha Thanks for all the replies so far lets hope both of us get a solution or the systems does not blow up and just keep the lights on

Sunsynk 8kw Parallel Inverter Small Issue
Hi Steve Thanks I did it but with a very weird result, the slave still uses more grid but then also starts using some battery just like 320w. Which is absolutly wrong as the timers are off. So the master charges the batteries and the slave uses them. My system was 100% with a single inverter.

Sunsynk 8kw Parallel Inverter Small Issue
Hi Steve87 Correct my strings are split in 6x 460 and 10x 460 panels due to shading from a neigbours tree. The bigger array is on the slave inverter. The slave will also work harder on grid at night when no PV is available but only on grid, as said when on batteries the load is split 50/50 If it is the case that the one works harder than the other and there is no issue with it then I leave it as is as there is no ill effect that I can see other than the numbers that is not equal.

Sunsynk 8kw Parallel Inverter Small Issue
The batteries are connected to a bus bar and then to the inverters Yes if ons batteries everything in 50/50 but when on grid the split is not even close to 50/50 (not sure if this is normal or not)

Sunsynk 8kw Parallel Inverter Small Issue
@wolfandy Sorry for only replying now but I was not home. Ok so what I have found is 2 issues. 1.The Master and slave does not split the grid/load load 50/50, the slave uses almost 890w more than the master when the load is higher. 2.The slave see's the batteries as 0.5V higher than the master. I Connections. Comms cable in Master parallel B and Slave Parallel A CT Coil on master only So I really do not know what to change as I have tried all settings. When running on batteries only the load and use is split 50/50 Please if anyone can shed some light. Thank you

Sunsynk 8kw Parallel Inverter Small Issue
Hi Guys Really hope someone can help me with my issue. I recently had a second inverter installed in parallel. My issue I have is as per below. The slave inverter will always charge the batteries between 400-500watts, will even take some grid to do so if there is not enough solar. Where the master will stop charging when there is not enough solar. So the salve will use more grid as it uses the extra 400-500watts for the charge (even is the timer are set to 50% and the batteries are over 50% it still charges) Timers as all correct Batteries are connected to a bus bar and then to the inverters Inverters are connected with the yellow cable from Sunsynk and both inverters parallel dip switches are "on" Your help will be much appreciated!

Hi Can someone please share what entity do you use for grid connected status on a Sunsynk inverter. That's the only one I am still struggling with. Much appreciated

Battery Temperatures
Hi Guys Just a quick question on battery temps. Revov R100 I see my batteries has 4 T temps and they all differ slightly within 1 Celcius. The biggest difference is the one in 24.8c and the other 23.8c the other two is 24.5c and 24.3c Is this acceptable or should they be closer together? Thanks in advance

Solar output
Hi Guys Please educate me as I am learing, I have 16x 460 watt JA panels, 2 strings of 6 on the one and 10 on the other. When the sun is out I get ave 2600w on the 6 panels and 3900w on the 10 panels, combined 6500w My concern is the 6 panel almost runs at max is this ok? My calc wat I would peak at 5888w as you take 20% off for real world out put or am I wrong? Thanks

New Battery Cell Balance
Thanks Kalahari This is 16 cell batteries. Do you agree that the cells will balance over time? Sorry I am still very new to this.

New Battery Cell Balance
Just to add just spoke to Revov and they said it will balance over time/cycles. But told me to change the absorption and equalization from 55.5V to 55.0V is this correct? Thanks

New Battery Cell Balance
Hi Guys I added a new Revov battery to my current 2 battery setup. All seems well as al three batteries SOC when in use differs by 1-2% from each other. My question is on the new battery when fully charged cell 15 is at 3.6 and the rest at 3.3 (the other two batteries cells are all at 3.4) The run light on the new battery stays lit and the battery SOC is 99.97% and varies slightly up and down. Is this the BMS balancing the cells? Over time cell 15 does come down. How long do I leave it for it to balance properly or do I just use that batteries and it will sort it self out over time? Thanks in advance.

Battery Capacity
Hi Guys I have 3 Revov R100 batteries. 2 is 100ah and one is 107.4ah My Sunsynk inverter picks it up as 300ah. Do I adjust it to 307ah on the inverter or leave it as 300ah? Thanks
