Looking in that specific firmware, I could not find any limiting of the maximum charge current to 20.0A.

My friend, I hope you solve the problem. I know it's become a challenge.
I don't know why Felicity doesn't pay enough attention to pairing its inverters with batteries of different brands.

I just tried these right now, no communication.
I also tried 1001 without success.
I will find out from Felicity if there will be a 1308 firmware. 😁

Hello Everyone 
We have started a wind turbine project to Illustrate that wind power in the right area and with the right equipment is a feasible solution and worth the money time and effort.
Product Choice is very important meaning that you must understand the technology that is available for wind turbines.
We have been involved in the Wind Turbine industry for some time and just as with solar there are many pitfalls to look out for unfortunately there are an excess of inferior quality products in the market and a lot of people that do not understand the technology and how to correctly integrate it with existing systems. 
We are documenting this process from start to finish and will provide access to data real-time monitoring photos videos and guidance on how to successfully implement wind turbine technology onto a full hybrid system that is running off grid. 
Fortunately, the location we have available has decent average wind speeds between 6 and 10 meter per second with an average of 7 meter per second throughout the year. 
Average wind speed is the most important factor for the success or failure of a wind turbine application. 
We are very fortunate in South Africa to have reasonable feasible wind speeds in the majority of the country however there are some areas that are just not feasible, and a wind turbine would be a waste of money and time.
So here we go with a little info on the base system that we will integrate the wind turbines with.
The System
2 X Solis S6 Advanced 6KW Hybrid Inverters in parallel single phase in off grid mode. 
20 x 365 Watt Ja Solar all black solar panels mounted in a east northeast and west southwest orientation (side note this configuration performs surprisingly well) giving you a total of 7.3 KW of solar power. 
Panels are mounted to the corrugated iron roof with Renusol Metasole mounting structures with black mid and end clamps. 
7 x Hubble Lithium AM-2 Batteries of various ages the oldest heading to 4 years giving a theoretical total capacity of 38.5 KWH storage the batteries are on a common DC bus to alleviate balancing between the batteries. 
Ryobi 2.5 KVA Petrol Generator for Emergency backup purposes. (produces enough energy to run base loads and slowly charge the batteries) 
The system has a full COC for insurance purposes. 
Additional equipment that will be installed on to the system.

That is the guide for comms from different brand Inverter with Felicity Batteries.
The question was how to set up comms between a Felicity Inverter and different brands of Batteries.

King II Have 3 inductors 2 on the main board and one on the MPPT from looking at these pictures ( could 0 ms transfer be achieved with the extra coil to get 0 ms transfer time?)
MKS have a 2 inductors one on the main board and big one for the MPPT screwed to the chassis and the main board have more varistor and Mov's and thicker coolers for sps semi conductors
Edited to correct a technical mistake between online inverter and 0 ms transfer time

This thread is Made To Help you know the Inverter internals, Considering It A Good Judgment of its quality, Spec, and true capability in comparison between them.
In this thread, you will find pictures that contain inverters Model, MPPT Specs (Some of it), and weight
this information is gathered from Inverters Datasheets and Main Boards Sellers (MPP Solar Distributor) and Repair Videos and will add more Model when good intel found or Provided.
- From the included Picture (Considering it the True Voltronic design not a cheap Clone) :
1- it is noted that the VM III 4kw, 6kw Similar to the Original VM III with an extra Aluminum Cooler on the MPPT and One Less Bus Cap
2- VM II 5.6kw Almost Equal to VM III 6kw (Without The Extra Aluminum Cooler on the MPPT) But use different UI (VM II's) and Less Software Features
3- King II 5kw is similar to MKS IV 5.6kw but the MKS is A higher end Model (Extra Components)
4- VM II 5k Premium Close to VM III 6kw Twin but Have a separate MPPT Board (Preferd Among Technicians) and Extra Bus Cap
5- Felicity Solar Inverters Uses Different Design Than Voltronic (And Have Way Less Models) Closer In Design to Mks Models Components Wise (Separate SPS Board + Not Negative Liner Voltage Regulator + RTC battery on the Main Cpu Board Like Mks)

I believe that it does, yes.
No, it works for three power levels: 6.0kW, 4.0kW, and 1.5kW.
Not for 4.2 or 6.2 kW.
This firmware is from January 2024 (per the date stamp on the hex file). Versions 60.87 (Feb 2024) and 60.10 (June 2024) are later.

Hello everyone,
Based on the frequent need for firmware of VM III TWIN and VM IV TWIN, and as I also own a VM IV TWIN 4kW; I aim for this thread to gather all available main firmware, which is always referred to by the names (DSP / Main CPU / U1), for the aforementioned two models specifically. This thread will always be open to newer and future firmware contributed by all members. Please note that firmware for these two models always seem to be interchangeable, so far at least.
In this thread, you will find more posts by me containing attached HEX File Only Packages of (DSP / Main CPU / U1) firmware. Each package contains an extracted HEX file only from each firmware version's original full package which is provided and attached by other members in this forum. Again, these files are specifically for VM III TWIN and VM IV TWIN models ONLY; Using these firmware files with any other inverter model will BRICK your inverter! Please always remember that every firmware is intended for a specific inverter model.
Please note that each firmware version has its own advantages, disadvantages, and possibly bugs! For your own testing, it's just trial and error, then you keep the version that you believe is the best for your inverter in the end.
CREDITS: The original uploader of each firmware version package will be mentioned in all posts containing HEX File Only Packages.
