  1. Is your communication between your inverter and batteries working? Dip switches on Batteries correct?
  2. Smart Energy Plat is the new App You can Contact Leon from CFE +8617362310252
  3. I see there is a new and improved app for the CFE batteries. Its called Smart Energy PLAT. Gives much more info and much easier to use
  4. I use the one you posted and it definitely saves water. It is a good quality head also. Can be opened and cleaned. If you have good pressure the head feels good.
  5. Thank you for the info. Something that I forgot to mention is that his Eskom supply is a 3 Phase supply although his house is wired using 1 phase for the ground floor. The second phase for the first floor and the 3rd phase for the second floor. He also has a standby generator with a change over switch and sounds like that is the point where he wants to connect the solar power. This doesn't sound right to me?
  6. Hi All Friend of mine wants to start his Solar installation. He has the following. 2 x 8KW Sunsynk inverters 5 x Hubble 5 kw batteries 20 x 555w JA solar panels How would you suggest he connects the system? I immediately thought that he might need another battery seeing the uneven amount. He also would like to link the inverters in parallel
  7. Hi Stu_D What make is your panels?
  8. I currently run 1 x 5kw Deye inverter with 10 x 550w Canadian panels in 2 strings of 5 each. I also have 2 CFE batteries. I run my geyser during the day with no problems. It is connected to the non essential so if there is no eskom it does not heat up. I did think of changing the 3KW geyser element to a 2KW just to leave me a bit more inverter power for incase. I am very impressed how well the Deye inverter handles the load. The blending of the different powers work very well. (eskom, solar and battery) I doubt that I will add an additional inverter for now. My pool pump 1.1kw and Geyser runs almost the whole day for free....If there is Sun....
  9. Where are you located?
  10. Mine is definitely 3382-1515
  11. Hi Anybody with contact that has 545w X 10 panels available at a decent price?
  12. Hi Any way to remotely change System work mode Time of use via remote app (Solarman Smart) or something?
  13. Thank you guys for the information. I also forgot to mention Budget and panel availability.....😀
  14. I was going to use both MPPT's on the inverter Is there like a specific series Voltage to aim for? I just thought to not overload one and split them equal on both MPPT's
  15. Hi There Would it be fine if I add 10 x 545w Canadian panels in 2 strings of 5 panels each to a 5KW Deye hybrid inverter? Looks like max PV is 6500W in the manual

  17. Remove the cover under the screen and make sure network cable is connected to the CAN port and not 485

Depends on type if inverter and Lithium battery you are using?
  19. Thank you again. I made a new cable just for incase...... But when I opened the inverter panel I noticed there were 6 Network cable sockets. My cable was inserted in the top left corner and was labeled 485. I noticed the one next to that was CAN. Moved it there and Bobs your Uncle...... Changed battery settings from "Use Bat %" to Lithium and everything is working fine
  20. Thank you zivva Is this what you mean with straight cable
  21. I have not checked the cable yet. But it was cable that was supplied with either the inverter or battery
  22. Hi there I have a problem with my coms between the inverter and the CFE battery. The installer selected the Use Battery % instead of the Lithium. I have changed that to Lithium under battery settings. But when I go to BMS I don't see any readings..... Just 0 I have double checked the dip switch settings but no luck Any help will be appreciated
  23. Hi Woodyza Did you manage to do the firmware update?
