How do I heat a room using solar
Hi all, I have a very cold room in the house, never gets any direct sun, but it is the "family room" so its frequented quite often. Its currently heated with a Samsung aircon, "inverter / heat pump" type, but it does consume 2kW/H. I also have a gas heater but that's not really cheap and it tends to consume to much oxygen as well. The ventilation in that room is not ideal for gas. Anyone dabble with heating a room with another method but still using the sun somehow? Heating water via solar (tube or flat panel) --> store water in a tank (old geyser) --> water pumped through radiator -->, fan driving hot air into area? Make hay while the sun is up ;-)

I need to monitor electricity consumption
found it, but not available in SA and Efergy don't place a new order for SA https://efergy.com/store/en/accessories/22-submetering-kit-stxtra.html this adds additional measuring clamps for additional circuits to a maximum of 5 separate circuits

I need to monitor electricity consumption
Aah Ok I get it. I can live with 10 - 20% off for consumption, to be able to determine what size PV & inverter I need. I can add 15% to be on the safe side?

I need to monitor electricity consumption
I want to be able to measure multiple circuits simultaneously but recording each circuit separate, so circuit 1 for lights, circuit 2 for kitchen appliances, circuit 3 for lounge, etc.

Good morning all, Besides the Kill A Watt meter, is there anything else I can use that will simultaneously measure each of the circuits over a period of time so I can determine what circuit is using how much current at what time, etc. I have different usages at different times of the day but also on different days and using the Kill a Watt meter will take a few months never mind days. :-( Something that wont break the bank ;-)- Axpert VM III
Hi Gnome, did you find out where to purchase this unit and for how much?- Is there a "new" model of Axpert inverters?
Apologies if this has already been discussed, I came across an ad in gumtree claiming a new model, is this true and what is the differences...? And how would you know what to look for to compare? Are there model versions? I went to the expo today and there was a lot of interest around the solar displays where people stood in groups listening to the "experts". The place was very well attended today, the queue at the mobile ABSA ATM alone was over 50 people long.- Newest Solar Tenders In Egypt Come In Under US 3 Cents Per kWh

I think a lot of people are again looking to go solar... the weather up here has been, cold, very windy and cloudy for the last few days, not ideal solar power generation weather, and I suspect will also reduce the numbers visiting this event, seeing that it is mostly an outdoors type event.- "Kragdag" Expo in Pretoria area
Good day all, I came across this website www.kragdag.co.za via an ad on gmail. There is an expo out Pretoria way where it seems some solar suppliers will be present including Victron. 9, 10 & 11 Augustus 2018(9:00 - 16:00)- Starting solar back up with the Axpert 5kV inverter
