Morning all, Solar setup; Growatt 5000ES inverter with an Easy Power 5.1kw/h battery and 6x265w panels connected to Eskom (no export). (Luv to get more panels.) Installed 12/5/2023 My problem is that sometimes the battery goes into "sleep mode" with only 2 green LEDs on instead of 4 at the SOC. On the inverter readout panel the battery indicate 100% charge. Do i need to worry about the 2 green LED's and call out the installer or is the battery just in a "rest" mode? Everything else works 100% and load shedding is something of the past. I would like to add more 265w panels but can't get any. The 265w panels are new out of the box and installed last year in May..To change out the existing 265w panels with say 450w+ will be a waste of money for me..

Gents, My solar system consists of Growatt SPF 5000 ES Inverter with an Easy Power 5.1kw battery and 6x265w solar panels. I need more power and would like to add more panels but don't get the same rating panels. Will it be ok to add 6x410w panels to the system? Meaning, can I mix the panels?.The installer will calculate the max volts/amps and make sure that everything stays within the Inverter's limitations and spec. All the work will be done by the installer who did the installation. Regards, Dries

Everything works 100%, and we are happy with no more load shedding. Getting to the Dongle, well ja..Can anybody help me get the thing chatting to the WiFi and APP plz..or any other idea on how I can check the data of the system? Hi All, I know about nothing of Solar and the installation thereof. MSolar did the installation in 2015 and we are happy and blessed with electricity..Today is a very hot day in CT and the temperature on the stoep are in excess of 30c and the invertor (Goodwe 3.5kw) are very hot, must be 60c+. Will this be a problem and how do I cool it off, will computer fans work?.. Regards, Dries

Thanks PJJ, I need to control the amount of electricity to export until I get EZMeter installed. I cannot do that with the EZManage app. I don't think the PV Master app can do that but I will check it out...Regards.

Morning Gents, I need the old Goodwe app. I use to use the old app in the beginning of 2015 but after an upgrade the EZManage app is useless.. Anybody out there who can help me with some sort of program that I can use on a Samsung tab, PC or Laptop?. it's for the GW 3648D-ES inverter Regards

Goodday All, Help!!.. I need to have a Goodwe EZmeter installed, Who in Cape Town can I contact to do the installation?.. The Solar system consist of 16 panels, Goodwe GW5048D-ES inverter and 4x200ha batteries. Everything works fine, I just need the meter and someone to do the installation. I do have all the necessary COC's and documentation. The installation was done by a Solar installation company and its not a DIY installation..I'm to dof for DIY . Regards, D
