Good day Just a question for the clever ones. I you install 2 5kw Infini V2 5Kw inverters in parallel, does the charging capabilities then double as well? In other words from 80A it goes to 160A?

Good day I still have my very first Inverter I used as a load shedding solution way back. Peak Power LW2000-12. I remember replacing it because of possible lightning damage and charging issues afterwards. Any suggestions who in Gauteng can repair such an inverter? Thinking of building a trolley for our coastal flat. Thank you

Hi guys. Need a bit of help here. I have decided to upgrade from my trusty old Infini V 5k to a Deye 8.8kw Inverter with Lithium batteries. Here comes my problem. I decided to stick with my current pv panels (350w Mono Art Solar x 10). the installer said it would be fine to put them all on one MPPT in one string. Here comes the question: VOC of the panels are 47V. This would then be 470V for the ten panels. Inverter states Max pv input is 500vdc and Max MPPT voltage is 425vdc. Am I going to have a problem or should it be fine?

Thank you for the reply Confirmed, ICC will not work, need to purchase ICM. Think I will rather go with Solar Assistant. I think one should get a bit more from it when running straight from the battery rather than the BMV.

Good day I currently have a Voltronic Infini V1 5k Inverter running with 8 x 6volt Lead Acid batteries being monitored by a Victron BMV 702 and ICC software. I am now replacing the old faithful lead acids with a BSL 6.4kw Lithium battery. My question is, should I keep the ICC and BMV 702 to monitor the battery, or replace the ICC software with Solar Assist to use the actual BMS of the battery? Not sure if this will be better or keeping the BMV 702 measuring the capacity with the shunt or utilizing the battery's BMS with solar assist as the inverter according to me would not communicate.

Thank you. So are your batteries only a backup? I see you also have a BMV702. Is this purely to monitor, as I understand the ICC does not support SOC control on our inverters?

Good day I currently have the Voltronic Infini V 5K installed. I am hoping to get a bit of feedback from the guys thats been running with this model in regards with setting. My ideal scenario would be to run on priority setting Solar Utility Battery (SBU) during the day as the PV is enough to power the load and charge the batteries quite quickly. But at night I would want to run off of the batteries for lets say 30% DOD (SBU) and after that change priority back to SUB. Only solar is used to charge the batteries. To to that, in my opinion, one needs to use the ICC software. Currently that cannot be done, but I spoke to Manie and this should be possible in the near future. Would love to hear how the other guys with these inverters use them as the are in actual fact Grid tied inverters.

I pump from my borehole to a 5000l pump that feeds the house. The pressure pump I use is on my inverter. I use the DAB Esybox mini 3. It's quite expensive but well worth it. Its an inverter pump, and best of all keeps the pressure the same all of the time. even better than munic supply. As the requirement increases, the pump ramps up.

Hi Guys Busy shopping around for some PV panels and was looking at the 350w Mono panels from ART solar. Firstly, has anyone had any experience with these? How do they compare to lets say Canadian Solar PV panels? Should I be looking at something else? Thank you

Thank you. So that means 0.03 volt per battery? Mine differs a bit more than that, but also, I did not buy very expensive, accurate volt meters. When fully charged, the difference between the lowest and highest battery is 0.09 volt.

Hi guys. I am using 8 210ah 6v lead acid batteries to make up my 48v bank. I have installed them with a voltmeter on each battery just to make sure that all off the batteries are in working order and to check the voltages for interest sake. My question is, what would be considered an exeptable difference in voltages between the batteries?

Have you thought about a variable speed/flow pump? I installed one. Initially had a 1.1kw (1.6kw input) now average between 260 and 450 watt depending on how dirty the filter gets. They are expensive but worth it.

Good day I need to purchase an inverter. After searching the net, I realized that there are many different models of Axpert inverters. I am in the market fo a 5kva / 5000w with the 80a solar charging capabilities. Are there different versions? If so, which one is the better or most reliable? To further to my confusion, I see there is a King now as well? Is this a better option?
