  2. HI You could try this ( no warranty if you use it ) SolarPower software wants one when changing major settings. The password can be found in this manual hys-3000-ba-de-neu on page 16, right after the word "Werkspasswort". It is also posted here: infinisolar-3kw-plus-factory-password in the last post. Werkspasswort "zAxE12_ObB8ya"
  3. Hi , I would love some input , on earth leakage , The setup is a Generator 5Kw connected to DB as if it is Eskom , The Eskom power cables and all were removed by some the antique copper collectors, so there is no neutral earth neural bond that is suppose to be in the Eskom transformer, although there is a DB ground to lightning conductor earth connection in the DB ground Bus bar , Can I test the earth leakage the same way I would test if i was connected to eskom , I am assuming the gen has a Neutral earth connection and my earth leakage will pick up ground current leakage , if all that is true , now comes the next question , If I connect inverter backup , Infini-solar inverter just to run the lights and I put a SWITCHOVER switch with both live and neutral switch over that can switch the lights from generator power to inverter power , the inverter ground is connected to the same gen ground , could or should I put in an earth leakage to protect the inverter backup lights circuits ,( in the future there may be a plug or two added to the inverter , ) If i have a case where a light live wire leaks to ground I would like it to trip, Inverter as a source would not have a trip switch and would like to add one in the solution , what is the suggestion , on having two earth leakages one for each power source, or I dont need one or i need one with a relay for the earth neutral bond on the inverter , or I dont need earth leakage on the inverter circuit if I supply the inverter with the generator 3 wire live neutral earth as a source to the inverter BUT I wire it after the earth leakage, Then what happens if i unplug the generator , then I loose my Earth neutral bond and I have no earth leakage , Any discussions are welcome ,
  4. As stated many times, the inverters itself do not have a password - only SolarPower software wants one when changing major settings. The password can be found in this manual hys-3000-ba-de-neu on page 16, right after the word "Werkspasswort". It is also posted here: infinisolar-3kw-plus-factory-password in the last post.
  5. Hi , EngHomam You will loose Warranty if you change something and it breaks your inverter , ( And even if your inverter fails for another reason it will not be covered ,) What setting or why do you want to change , that needs the factory password , I could help you with normal parameters to get past your problem , if i new what it was ?

  7. HI , there is a setting Generator as power. I have never used it although it may give you more Frequency leeway on the power coming in but if you have a grid tie setting it may remove outgoing power to Generator which I think is a good thing , No of this is confirmed maybe if you try it you can report back and let us know it worked ,

  9. Hi , Hernancalcagno and others that may have the 50.1 Hz issue with Infinisolar , The way I resolved it was after a deep dive into the setting I found that: If you Enable Wide AC input range . it will open up the frequency range on incoming AC and the constant disconnecting and reconnecting when the grid frequency is not 50.9 Hz and below stops . And you dont need to void your warranty with a factory password. I hope this resolves the 50.1 Hz issue , I found my system is stable for 5 months now since i changed that setting . regards Jarrod IOTguru Later
  10. Hi I also need the factory password for the infinisolar 3k plus, Or Is there new firmware I could load that could solve my problem of a 50.3 Hz frequency erratic fluctuations from 49.9 to 50.3 Hz , I wouldn't like to void my warranty at this point . I purchased the unit this year , But that doesn't mean its that latest firmware ? How do i tell ? This is the problem we are going to face soon , From : https://www.dnvgl.com/cases/the-german-50-2-hz-problem-80862 "the implementation of this interface protection rule at a fixed 50.2 Hz, unwittingly instigated an instantaneous loss of generation that can be significantly larger than the balancing power available Europe-wide for primary frequency control, rendering the overall system unstable." we are going to cause our own problems by having all these inverters switching at the same Frequency .. unloading and loading the grid at the same time , We just need to get to critical mass .. a whole bunch of Inverters( 1000 or more etc in an area switching off or on at the same time .. not good for a grid .. ) regards IOTGuru.
