  1. Thank you Youda, I disconnected the US3000B and only tried to run the US3000C (standalone) I can confirm my pinouts of the RJ485 is the following: 6 -> 7 -> 5 8 -> 3 I can confirm that the "upside down" dip switches on US3000C are set to 1-0-0-0 (9600 baud) 05 is already set to PYL I have restarted the whole system. Still get Err61 after 2 mins. QUESTIONS: 1) Could the RJ485 be faulty? 2) Could it be a firmware problem? Thanks in advance and for your patience.
  2. Good day, I have made my cable configuration for the Pylontech US3000 with dips witches set to 1000 and it worked fine for the past two years. I now bought a new Pylontech US3000C which I would like to make master. Why doesn't this cable work anymore? What cable should I use for my Axpert King to communicate with the US3000C?
  3. Hi Tinbum I have read the manual. Will this work for the Axpert King inverter? Regards, Japie
  4. Good day, Sorry that I raise this subject again. I have tried to find answers by reading through various posts, have tried various options recommended but I am having an issue finding the right answer to solve my problem. WHAT I HAVE (and work to date) I have an Synapse 5.0+ Axpert King Inverter with a Pylontech US3000 battery. I have made all the right settings (05 PYL etc) and made up the cable which I plugged into RJ485 port on battery and comms of inverter. Set the dip swithches to 1000 on battery. The battery light on inverter is flashing which comms has been established. Everything have worked fine up to now for a couple of months. PROBLEM (Adding a Pylontech US3000C) I want to add a second battery, a US3000C. I have made the US3000C the master by plugging in the short black cable into Linked-Port-1 (leaving 0 open) and the other end into the UC3000's linked-Port-0. I have set the dip switches also to 1000 on the 3000C. I have balanced them both before I connected them to the inverter. Once connected to inverter, when I plugged in the communication cable (that works fine with the US3000 standalone) I get an error 61. I then tried this cable on the the US3000C on its own with the same cable, then I still get an Error 61. When I revert back to the US3000 on its own again, the battery light on the inverter is flashing which means comms is fine. Question, is the comms cable that I made up not compatible with the US3000C? Which cable should I use for I have no longer the original cable that came with the inverter? Is that the cable that I could use instead, and no longer the one that I got made up? Thanks in advance.
  5. Good morning, I really hope that someone can help me. Firstly I would like to apologize if this has been covered before in this forum but I sometimes find it hard to find the right information with a snippit of info here and another snippit there. Thus the reason I decided just to create a new post. I have the following system and setup as follows: SYSTEM: Synapse 5.0K+ (Axpert King) Firmware: 71.70 Pylontech 3000B 9 x 275W solar panels WHAT I WANT SYSTEM TO DO: Although utility is available, I would like to run my household (Load) on Solar Panels. If not enough power generated by panels, then I would like the battery to assist panels. If not enough supplied by both or battery falls to minimum level, I would like the Utility to kick in. I would like to have enough battery power to support load shedding if utility goes down. I would like solar to charge battery and support load if enough sun. CURRENTLY: If I switch the mains off or when load shedding, Inverter switches to Panels to support the load. It also switch to battery in the evening when there is no sun. I am happy, it works fine. Today is a bright sunny day, Panels generate at 11A and is enough to support household and no back from the full battery is required. PROBLEM: If I switch the mains on and the utility becomes available, the Pylontech shows as fully charged, the system somehow remains in Bypass mode and uses only the Utility power to support the household load demand. Nothing from the Battery or Solar Panels. QUESTION: How can I run my system on sun and battery as first priority and ONLY to use the Utility if there is no sun or when the battery is too low? Why does the system into bypass mode when the utility becomes available? Currently I don't reap the benefit of solar when utility is available. MY CURRENT SETTINGS: 01 -> SbU 02 -> 20A 05 -> PYL (works fine with cable) 06 -> Overload Enabled 07 -> High temperatures Enabled 09 -> 50Hz 10 -> ECO 11 -> 20A 12 -> 48v 13 -> 51v 16 -> SbL/ UCb 18 -> bOF 19 -> ESP 20 -> LON 22 -> AON 23 -> bYE 25 -> FEN 26 -> 53,2v 27 -> 53,2v 28 -> SIG 29 -> 47.0v 32 -> AUt 33 -> EdS 34 -> 58,4v 36 -> 60 36 -> 120 37 -> 30d 39 -> AdS 40 -> nfe 93 -> nfe 94 -> 10 95 -> 6 Thanks so much in advance.
  6. Good day, I just have the following question: - I have a Synapse 5.0K+ (Axpert King). - No firmware upgrade needed for I have the Option 05 = PYL - I have a US3000B Pylontech Battery (not US3000C) - I don't have a RS-485 cable, need to make one up. Question: Is the pin-outs still the same for US3000B Pylontech? 3 to 1 1 to 3 5 to 2 2 to 5 OR is these pin-outs only applicable to US3000C?
  7. Good day, How do I know if I have the Pylontech US3000B or OS3000C. The part number that I can see is US3000NA01V00101 but I cannot find any information to tell me if it is the B or C?
