  1. Thanks

No but just Google. Mine is inside a battery box with my 2 banks. Inverter is on top and have to disconnect battery and PV to get access.
There are some variations like some have a switch to switch on and others via the APP only. Others take 8-20 cells and installed one with up to 24 cells.

Then there js also the JK. Look at the Off grid garage videos on them on YouTube. Also a number of members here are using them. Me included.

It is a very odd thing that I don't experience any freeze on my Kings and I've run two different firmware versions. Kinda points to a hardware fault, no?

artful_dodger got a reaction from weber in Axpert King - can't stop it charging from utility
Hi @weber Sorry for the long delay on this, been on holiday for a while. So if I manually change the inverter mode in ICC to SUB then it does not charge the battery using Utility (in other words it honours the charge source setting of solar only). However if ICC automatically changes modes from SOC or time control from anything to SUB it will charge from Utility. I did notify the ICC guys of this and they are aware, so when they manage to figure that out I'm sure they'll fix it.

Same, I get readings from ICC plugged in to my Narada battery. Can also see it on the inverter in Utility mode. Utility mode is the only time I see 2A charge from either data source.

50V reading from the King doesn't seem to be relevant to it charging the battery, though. It seems as though if I'm in utility mode it will charge the batteries, regardless of voltage reading.

Quite possibly. Right now we think Weber has a fix for the freeze/pause, so we're busy with that. But as always, no guarantees.
  7. Thanks
Hi @Ant and @miles the KIng will always charge the batteries with Utility while Utility is available. The best to do is to set the charge rate at 2A and live with it.
    Therefore set Setting # 11 to 2A.

    Outch, thats not nice.

Thanks. It seems my installer either didn't check his chap's work properly, or doesn't fully understand a parallel setup. As an interim measure I disconnected the inverter-to-inverter PV wiring (ie leaving all 9 panels connected only to the first inverter). Not ideal I know, but the panels are at least all facing the same direction on the same roof face. I'll sort the 1 lonesome string out properly this weekend and run it in to the second inverter.
I definitely intend adding panels to that part of the roof in the future. This was just to get going.
On the upside my PV production now looks normal.

Agreed, that does look rather odd. Not sure what it's about.
Thanks Pieter. Mine looks right. Did this solve the negative grid watts or erratic PV production for you?
