Revov batteries out of balance
I also think this is the problem. The installer came and fiddled with the settings and reset the system a couple of times and seems all is working again. Or is it just a matter of time before the bad cell bombs out again?

Revov batteries out of balance
Thank you hilt_ctn. It did charge back to 100% yesterday, but I'll leave them at 100% over night and see if it helps.

Revov batteries out of balance
Hi everyone I have a 10kw Revov battery connected to a 5kw Deye inverter. Yesterday, the SOC dropped from 37% to zero instantly and the batteries shut down. Once it restarted, it charged up to 100%, but it is now discharging at a much faster rate than previously. Usually, a1 0% drop in SOC equaled 1kw discharge, now 10% equals about 0.6Kw discharge. I think the cells are out of balance, is there a setting on the Deye to force the BMS to balance the cells properly? Thank you for the help.

5kw Deye CT coil not working after firmware upgrade
Problem solved. The guys who came to fix the other issue moved the CT Coil. All fixed again.

5kw Deye CT coil not working after firmware upgrade
Hi everyone. I have a strange issue with my 5kw Deye inverter. The CT coil and "zero export to ct" was working perfectly until I had to do a firmware update to fix another issue. Now the the non-essential load no longer shows as part of the house consumption. Only the essential consumption shows and no matter what settings I change it shows only the essential consumption. Toggling between "zero export to ct" and "zero export to load" makes no difference to the house consumption reading. Any advice will be appreciated.

Deye discharging battery past too deeply
There is no comms between my battery and inverter, running on voltage mode, back when it was installed Revov could not communicate with Deye. I know they can now so maybe it's time to fix that. I'm letting it sit on 100% the whole day, so hopefully it will recalibrate itself. Thanks for the reply.

Deye discharging battery past too deeply
Good morning everyone, I need some help please. I have a 5kw Deye inverter and a 10Kw Revov battery. It's been working perfectly for 4 years, but recently the inverter has been drawing down the battery too much at night. My settings stayed the same with the time of use set to discharge the battery to 40% at night. The inverter still shows 40% in the morning, but the battery is below 20%. The inverter and battery percentages used to be spot-on and I did not change anything. Any advice would be appreciated.

Sunsynk draining battery below timer setting
I think your problem is with the time slots, it needs to run sequentially from 00:00 in the first block. Start your first block (top left) with 00:00 (12 at night) and end your last block (bottom right) at 00:00 again, so you cover 24hr from top to bottom. There are some threads on here that discuss how the inverter does weird things when not programmed this way.

Sunsynk 8.8Kw and 2 x Alpha-Ess 10.1Kwh Batteries, 100% SOC status and no discharge
Hi Duane, I had a similar problem. Turned out one of the fuses in the battery disconnect fuse holder burned. I replaced the fuse and all was ok again.

Deye 5KW Inverter not charging batteries
So it seems a blown fuse caused the problem. Not sure what would have caused this. I will replace and see how it goes.

Deye Time Of Use Settings
Hi KBS, start your first block (top left) with 00:00 (12 at night) and end your last block (bottom right) at 00:00 again, so you cover 24hr from top to bottom. Might work, I know the Deye inverters are finnicky with the time slots.

Deye 5KW Inverter not charging batteries
Not yet, I'm back home tomorrow and will report back. Very difficult to try and figure out a problem remotely.😟 Thank you.

Deye 5KW Inverter not charging batteries
Hi everyone Yesterday round about the time of the big storm in JHB, my SOC readings on my Deye inverter went haywire and since then it won't charge the batteries at all. The voltage reading on the inverter equals the float charge voltage, even though I can see on the batteries that they are 50% full. So it just sits at 100%. Any help please? Thanks

Hybrid 5Kw Deye Inverter and Prepaid Meter PH104
I did exactly this, but now my meter only connects if that specific aircon is switched on 😣.
