Already had a look there,trying to figure out what the costs would be for a service, replacement parts would be anybody have pricing on these units? Install costs? Weighing the options vs the pv units

Do these heat pump units require servicing? What are costs involved? Air filters and such?

Hi small side note here, but few of the dyness guys that were with pylontech left the company and made their own brand and labeled it Dyness. Same batteries few tweaks here and there but difference in batteries is as follows 1: pylons can mix and match 2.4 and 3.5 modules 2: dyness cannot mix and match so ur forced to stick to battery stack eg 2.4 to 2.4 or 3.6 to 3.6 and so on 3: the dyness is 3.6 vs the pylon 3.5 4: price! price! price! Dyness are a fraction of the pylons with 10year warranty on the dyness Just my 5 bob worth ✌

Finally had the luxpower 5k hybrid installed today coupled with the Dyness 2.4kwh lithiums x 2 for now(plan to add a 3rd). Andy @ Aspergo energy was on call to double check install and assist to remotely configured inverter. Big thanks to Andy @Aspergoand the Seymour electrical guys. Next on the list Panels!!

Thanks for the feedback,research implies that this brand is huge in the UK and growing. Granted the UK isn't the SA, but the monitoring software looks very user friendly and the fact that it does remote monitoring and maintenance via app and pc is amazing. Pitty not many locals have experience with it would have liked to hear from them before pulling the trigger on one

Hi all New to the forum, after months of research I have decided to take the leap and join the solar community. What Initially started as looking for a backup for eksdom and loadshedding has gone full circle. I now find myself looking to join the independent self consumption community. The system I have in mind consisting of the following: 1. Luxpower 5kva hybrid inverter Relatively new comer to the industry or rather atleast to me? 2. Dyness 3.55kwh modules x 2 3. Canadian 410w/405w Pv modules x 8 Approximately 3.2kwh The idea is to start with the lux inverter and battery backup and later add pv modules, am I on the right track?? Current consumption is around 24 to 26kw daily and 440to 460kw monthly. Wishing to power essentials lights,tv,dstv,fridge. Also looking for installer in the strubensvalley area. Thanks in advance
