  1. I found that it is quite finiky and you just have to play around unitl it works. I contstantly (At least once per week) have to go to settings:Inverter MQTT and under Inverter connection" change it to serial (RS232) then choose different connections under "serial(rs232) selection" until one works. You have to reboot the raspberry each time in between.

  3. CB solar synapse 4+ any chance these are still avail?
  4. Hi. No I do not have it installed. The last battery is simply left open. It seems to work fine like that
  5. I personally think they using the church as a front and simply place a random person on the lookout for the delivery truck close to the entrance. My guess would be that when they see any truck arrive this random person (who is in on the scam) asks the driver if the can help as the pastor is "away" and that he will sign for it. This would fool 90% of delivery drivers would it not? We should warn users on "pastor and church" deliveries...Thanks for your warning...and PS I think this will apply to ***any*** deliveries.

  7. The pastor does not exist. It's just a cover to give more credibility to the scam! Im guessing the "groundsman" is also just a random person placed near the church grounds to intercept the delivery.
  8. This is the best pic I could find as currently its all wired into an electrical box. It is basically an RJ45 One side then going through the Diversified solutions(beige with writing on it) box to a USB other side.
  9. I bought mine from a company called "Diversified Solutions". Contact was Riaan Heath . email them at info at diversifiedsolutions dot coza they referred to it as the "narada Comms cable" It cost me R750 a year ago
  10. I know this statement is a few years old but I run both Thin film and Poly solar panels and I can directly compare performance. I can confirm that thin film offer significantly better performance and efficiency year round to the extent that I will from now only purchase thin film solar panels if possible! I would estimate the % increase to be between 25 and 30% better than the poly panels. This is more impressive seeing the NO shading is occurring so no excuse can be drawn for the poly panels!
