After noon, Just FYI, there is currently a flood of used pylontech batteries going cheap US3000c and US5000 Cells are all bloated inside, but new trick is to put US3000C cell pack and BMS inside US5000 cases, I tested one with Reader and found us3000 firmware on it. worst one was 16s with a 15s bms reading.... note batteries are 4years old according to sticker BMS says 22-08-25

Pylontech US3000 rebuild
Tabs are laser welded and silicone added over them lately, Iam in the process of removing them with a Dremel cutter, Also need to swap cells to make a good pack. I suspect BMS not BMSing much to protect cells from bloating. Maybe i should use a JK bms and test a pack

Quick Question and advise needed. Customer has 1x 48v Huawei 100amp (4.8kwh) battery feeding a cloned 5kva axpert jobbie from the sun pays. After checking specs the battery BMS is limited to 50amp output only, Battery routinely cuts power to inverter above 50amp draw, Now I can't find these for sale lately, Can I add a Narada 100amp 48v lithium to the current setup with known 100amp output? Anything to watch out for? (Besides the clone) Thanks in Advance From NF N

Best string config Axpert MKS-II 450V MPPT
Would suggest 2 strings of 6panels to get 240vdc +- way withing the inverters MPPT range of 120v ~ 450v Total of 4800w with bit left for "play" Would suggest 6 panels towards sun up And 6 sundown position for maximum on solar load time. But the Mark11 also run well with 4 panels together for 160w with first hand exsperiance runnings pool pumps ect. All is your load profile and Battery size dependent.
