So i have a client from CT that has a place in fairie glen that his renting out. He wants me to install the system but i need to register with tshwane. I sent in all the relevant docs but they not getting back to me and there numbers just ring or they not active any idea on turn around times with registering a system? or maybe someone that i could call?

Hi, is this your first installation in Gauteng? I have never heard of anyone registering a solar installation in our province. I think that is a requirement for CoCT

I have done plenty installs but never have a i been asked to register the system.
The body corporate is already on board with the installation but the registration is kicking my ass.

I always say i can deal with alot of technical things but when it comes to working with a third party like the government or someone thats not willing to help then im screwed

You could try asking the councillor for the ward for assistance.

Hell awesome idea. Thx got in touch with him he will get all the info.

best is tshwane is striking again aswell

Also consider insurance. He needs to update HO insurance, and they usually have requirements ito CoC and engineering diagrams etc.
