Basically you are right. However some precision are helpful. I run 2 Axpert/Synerji MKS 5K in parallel and they work lovely together and share load.

1. Each inverter must have its own PV panel array, not in parallel. It is even possible that only one of them has PV's connected.

2. The requirement for same length of battery cables is nonsense. I have my 4 battery packs connected together with 25mm² cables and then from the last (first) pack I connect via 125A fuses to each inverter with uneven lengths 25mm² cables. Absolutely no problem with this.

For starting up the instruction tell to first connect 48V to them, then simultaneously switch them on. They will arbitrarily select master and slave. My experience is that the one that  arbitrarily is the first to be switched on will become the master. So if you want a specific unit to become the master, switch it a fraction of second on first.
