Is it a clone or just software problem

Featured Replies

Hi there, I am new here and have a problem with my inverter. It shows that I have the generator connected and running and it is not. There is a click sound and the lights flick now and then.

It is hard to see from the photo, but it's a clone. The serial number has too many digits, and they use the "cent" symbol instead of the Greek letter "phi".

Flickering of lights, especially LED lights, is common. Inverter output is just not as stiff as the mains.

If it shows the AC-input symbol (sine wave in a circle, a bit like a tennis ball) when there is no AC input present, then that's a concern, and I've never heard of that problem.

Thanks for the reply. Yes it does show that symbol and does not react to the starting of the generator. It does not charge the battery. What can I do.

Maybe not the answer you are looking for, but highly recommend you get the real thing and not the clone.  Axpert inverters are already made to a really low price.  I don't even want to imagine how cheaply made the clones are.
