January 17, 20224 yr Seem to recall a co. by that name running out of premises in Randburg a few years back whose prices were to good to be true. Lack of physical address is a bit of a red flag to me but I am paranoid. I won't spend any major money with anyone that I can't walk in to the premises and see the equipment unless it is endorsed by someone I know even if only thru' this forum. Also quick replies to email could indicate co. not busy just waiting for your call. Looking at the photos on the facebook page I see he claims a email @citysolasa on his brochure and @citysolarsa on the about page. Sloppy! Not saying this is a scam but I would not waste my time. But that's just me.
January 17, 20224 yr My rule of thumb is cod, see it, check it, kick the wheels if needed and then pay. It involves a drive but saves any present/future issues for a bit of inconvenience. Also the fact your asking tells me your instinct is already saying somethings wrong. My major online purchases are all made with some kind of escrow in place, so no delivery no money.
