February 23, 20224 yr I am currently on Protocol Version:V0.2.0.1 and HMI:VC.3.4.A MAIN_1:V3.8.8.0. Are there any benefits in upgrading firmware and Deye support needs to do the upgrade apparently. Also I asked them to enable me to update settings on the app and this was there response: "To modify the parameters, you need to provide your solarman login account and password, and I will authorize you" Has anyone done this?
February 23, 20224 yr Not sure why they need it but they do. Afterwards you will be able to control on either Smart or Pro, with either web or mobile app. I'm on the same firmware as you are - please give feedback regarding the update process and subsequent performance. I too have been reluctant to upgrading the firmware on my 5kw Deye as it has been working perfectly well since install last year. MdF

Inverter serial, Device serial and Solarman ID?
