What is the approximate power consumption of a gearless, machine room-less (MRL) 10 persons 800 kg passenger elevator e.g Schindler 3300 MRL traction elevator? 

I need to hook one up to 3-phase solar inverter and I can't find this information on the Internet. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

So for just moving 800kg at 1.5m/s you need around 12kW. But the problem is more complex than that because it probably has counter-weights and other losses as well (like friction and motor efficiency etc.). With counter-weights it could mean that you only require half that power, but you also need to be able to accelerate.

I think you should contact the manufacturer...

Yes, it does have counterweights. That I'm 100% certain.

Looks like it considering it probably has a regenerative drive that sends power back into the building when descending. 

According to Schindler USA, 5,7kw.

I guess 26A FLA is at 240Vac split phase (USA/Canada). For 415Vac three-phase, FLA for a 5.7kW motor will be in the order of 10-15A depending on the PF. 

Interesting stuff. I havent thought about this.
