Hy Guys,

I am trying to set up my BMS but the inverter is not communicating with the batteries. I have a 8kW inverter with 2 US 3000 batteries. I have tried the settings in both manuals. I have switched the batteries on and off and now the SOC is not displaying correctly. It was on 70% but now it is showing 100%

Have you used the correct cable from the batteries to Sunsynk?

Used the right DIP settings on the batteries?

Send some pics of the inverter battery settings and LiBMS screen. See this thread from today , your settings should look the same.

It is the cable that came with the batteries. I saw that the cable is different for the 3000 and 3000c. How would I know if it is correct?

Your BMS comms is not working if the LiBMS screen looks like that . I see it looks like you have the US3000B? I am not sure how the settings for those work but it should say in the manual.

I can not get the battery communicate saw a instruction pdf online from .. solar supplies, they say connect the yellow cable on the can port on the battery and BMS/CAN on the inverter and only dip switch 1 in on position everything else OFF. I have done that but it does not work, even reset the inverter to factory settings

I tried a different R45 cable same result, even measured RJ45cables with tester, both cables are standard RJ45. Can anyone tell me if the yellow cable suppled does work or where I am going wrong please. Thank You Christoph

I suspect thats the issue - the US3000C uses a different cable compared to the older US3000s (different pin-outs).

You'll need to crimp a new plug on according to correct pin outs (steps have been discussed in other threads) or buy the appropriate cable.
