June 16, 20224 yr Hi, i have EaSun SVII iGrid 5kw with problem at CPU (U1 Firmware). I think somebody has change CPU on board control, and now inverter start and get Fault error, can't set nothing. Now on display i see U1 52.30, but i think original was 29.34

Many look very similar, but there are subtle differences. Such as the bootloader, which isn't updated by firmware updating. It's particular to a family of models. So even if you found the right firmware, it likely would not load. But there are also hardware differences that are not easy to spot by eye or from a photo. You'll need a replacement control board, specific for your particular model. It's a nightmare trying to find these, I'm sorry to say.
June 17, 20224 yr Author Sir, I swap only CPU chip on control board. (Like on display board) . Now need correct firmware for model. Control board not changed.

Or you could maybe do it with JTAG programming hardware. But that takes some skillz. You would also need a firmware image, and I don't know where you'd get that from. I no longer chase Infini firmware. I don't have a bootloader for your model. Sorry, I don't know where you are going to get one, unless you get a complete new control board, specific to your actual model of inverter. Then you still need the firmware update file. That should come from the original inverter supplier. Good luck, not many have done what you are attempting.

I don't have any 29.xx firmware in my collection. My notes say that 52.29 is the firmware reported somewhere for an Easun Infini V2 clone, which is what yours sounds like. So maybe you have the right firmware. What is the fault code? Maybe they changed the whole control board? There are subtle differences in control boards.
July 2, 20224 yr This Model is sold here in SA under the InfiniSolarV. However, the supplier does not carry out any maintenance or repairs locally. So unfortunately i do not think you will find this on this forum. Just a question though, does it not share the firmware of the MKS lV?

July 3, 20224 yr Hi @Coulombmy reference to the infiniSolar was not to the infiniSolar 3phase Hybrid of the past. I must say that the MKS4 & the Infini V look identical. The MKS4 is the normal 5.6kW off grid machine & the InfiniV looks to be exactly the same but is grid feed capable. But I get your point , but the display looks the same but I'm pretty sure as you mention there is a lot of differences deeper down. Nonetheless, I could source the MKS4 files. Unfortunately the InfiniV is not a product we have support for so files are almost impossible to come by. On another note, there is a new model that has been launched & will be available soon in the month called the King ll. It looks again identical to the MKS4 but has two AC output ports. Also the HV SCC but it has the Double conversion of the normal King as it's transfer time is UPS speed. Its rated at 6kW output though. IN consultation with the technicians at this lab they mentioned a new 10kW & 15kW Infinisolar with the same magic party tricks of the two AC output ports. So it's interesting where the Voltronics machines are going. Looks to be inline with an Essentials & Non essential AC port split.

Hard to say till I get a look at the firmware or photos. The Infini Vs may share a lot of the Axpert hardware, perhaps even all of it, I forget. There are so many models these days. I've not been impressed by the reliability of the Infinis. So not buying support (however that works) is possibly a wise move. So it must be yet another new model... perhaps King IV? On 2022/07/03 at 5:35 PM, Steve87 said: Also the HV SCC As does the present King II. They seem to be creeping up the power levels. I hope that the hardware really supports this long term. Not from anywhere, that is directly accessible on the net. I have a mate that is a technician & repairs, tests & proves the equipment daily for a large supplier. 8 hours ago, Coulomb said: King II is 5 kW. They seem to be creeping up the power levels. I hope that the hardware really supports this long term. Yep, it's the round disco light display & it's got the 2 AC outputs & on the menu options has the typical King type of ECO settings. Basically this is a new King at 6.2kW with 2 outputs & the HV SCC. Looks like Voltronics just markets these things in so many different varieties all of the over the world. Like the 6048. That just never made it to our market in SA. Really weird how they choose what goes where. And the MAXll is on their website as a 8kW. In SA it's not even called that at all & it's 10kW. Then we getting the new Infinisolar 3 phase machines again with the 2 outputs. & It's IP65. So makes for a lot of choices. 8 hours ago, Coulomb said: Yes, thanks for the updates Anytime, these machines are very intriguing & I really enjoy following the tech & installing them for a living. Of particular close attention hopefully I will get to install the HVDC 30kW 3phase machine Trolley Infini. Now, that is something I am looking forward to but then again these decisions lay in the hands of others. Will keep you updated. But it's in the pipeline.
