Battery Set Up inside a Compex Unit

Featured Replies

I have purchased a Dyness B4850 battery and and I will be installing with a Kodak 5.6kW 48V Inverter. The set up will be temporary as we're looking at buying a house next year. I have seen that a Pylontech US3000 2 bay cabinet is compatible with the Dyness B4850 battery. Apart from this, what other options are there except setting the battery on a table like in the attached photo? I'm also open to considering a 4 bay cabinet in case I want to expand in the future?

That should have enough for later expansion

Maybe google some server rack suppliers you should find racks of all sizes and price ranges.

Thank you. I will definitely have a look. Exciting time this coming week with the installation.

Are you planning to take the system with you when you move?

If a yes, and/or you want minimum visible input, then try an all-in-one unit like this
https://revov.co.za/products/revov-all-in-one-systems/

That has the inverter, BMS and batteries all in one box. I would be surprised if this the only such system on the market.

I am not a fan of this brand. I just offer this as an example of the type of system that might fit your needs.

I am also currently renting and was also looking for a solution. The revov cube is nice, but it limits upgrades and repairs too much. I've decided to have an Inverter + Batteries build into a server rack, then I can move it with me once I bought a house, and it is easy to add another inverter/battery/solar. This is what it is gonna look like more or less

Thank you very much. This is opening my eyes on possibilities and I need to decide today so I'm on it.
